You don’t require any inside knowledge to understand what Elon Musk’s plans for Britain are.

Far from concocting a secret plot behind closed doors, the billionaire X owner has in fact been admirably open about what he is doing and why.

“Civil war [in the UK] is inevitable,” he posted on his platform in 2024, before telling a far-right rally in London the following year that there needs to be a “revolutionary” overthrow of the British Government.

“Violence is coming to you,” he told the assembled far-right activists.

“You either fight back or you die.”

This planned revolution would primarily be a racial one, with the X owner just this week retweeting a post stating that “white solidarity is the only way to survive”.

So will ministers take such action, or will Musk’s British political and media supporters once again step in to protect their man?

After a week of speaking to senior figures in Parliament and Downing Street, here’s what I think is going to happen next.
