Faking It
It's only day one of the general election and already the Conservative Party is running a deeply dishonest and dirty campaign to keep Rishi Sunak in Downing Street
The Conservative Party started their general election campaign as they mean to go on today, with a shameless attempt to deceive the public.
Rishi Sunak travelled to a Warehouse used by McVities in Derbyshire this morning, supposedly to take questions from ‘ordinary’ voters.

One of the councillors later admitted to me that he had been invited to the event, before quickly ending the call when I pursued further details, while the other boasted about his appearance online.
The story has since been widely picked up, including by The Guardian and Channel 4 News and marks the start of what is likely to be one of the dirtiest political campaigns in living memory.
So what does this story tell us about Rishi Sunak and his party and what other dirty tricks can we expect over the coming weeks?
