As I first predicted last year, the wheels are now finally coming off of the Nigel Farage project.
Three major polls this week found that support for Reform UK has slumped massively over the last few months, with Farage’s party set to come in a poor second, or even third place, were a general election held today.
This collapse is no accident. Not only has Andy Burnham’s appointment as Prime Minister transformed Labour’s electoral prospects, it has also helped to highlight quite how unpopular Farage now is as a prospective prime minister
However, there is another, more significant reason why I believe Reform’s prospects of winning the next general election are now so slim.
