It’s Time Boris Johnson’s Enablers Apologised

The disgraced former Prime Minister was only allowed to rise to the top due to the complicity of a British political and media establishment that knew better

At this point listing all of Boris Johnson’s flaws feels like an almost impossible task.

His reckless decisions, unstoppable narcissism, overwhelming dishonesty and fundamental selfishness all combined to create the most disgraceful and disgraced major UK political figure of modern times.

As he finally exits the political stage, via his own trapdoor, much will be written about how it all went so badly wrong for him, with most of the blame landing at his own feet.

But while Johnson’s own responsibility for his actions is undeniable, it was the behaviour of his supporters and enablers that transformed what was an obviously flawed individual, into the truly damaging figure he ultimately became.
