Should the Labour Party be worried about Rishi Sunak? Polls in recent days suggest his own personal ratings are now significantly better than the Conservative Party’s.
Some (but not all) of these surveys have also found a significant narrowing of the gap with Labour.
His first Prime Minister’s Questions appearance was also well received in Westminster, with my lobby colleague Ava judging that Sunak’s arrival was a “catastrophe” for the opposition.
So are the people who suggest Sunak is a real problem for Labour correct? I’m not entirely convinced for the following reasons.
